The PFA lunch will be returning to The Queens Hotel this December for another afternoon of unforgettable entertainment with one footballs' true characters, the brilliant Dennis Wise, the hilarious comedian Sean Collins and host Mark Clemmit. Be sure to book your place nice and early for one of Leed's most popular sporting lunches.
One of football’s real characters played as a central midfielder in a career spanning over 20 years. He played for Wimbledon, Leicester City, Millwall, Southampton, Coventry City and, most notably, Chelsea. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he won two FA Cups, a League Cup and a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. He left the club in 2001 and is still the club's joint fifth highest appearance maker and the second most successful captain.
The brilliant Sean Collins is a hilarious Canadian stand-up comedian with a natural ability to engage a crowd and make them laugh with extraordinary tight routines. His hilarious anecdotes and energy are punctuated by slick comic timing.
Our host, Mark Clemmit, is one of English football’s most familiar voices and faces and is one of our regular and most popular host’s. Known to many as Clem, he’s probably best known for his relaxed, access all areas style as the feature’s reporter on BBC One′s Football Focus.
