EMG EVENTS COMPANY GOLF CHALLENGE - 2024: JDP CROWNED CHAMPIONS
25 APRIL 2024, BETCHWORTH PARK GOLF CLUB
It seems like the majority of the time when the EMG Golf Challenge takes place, it is blessed with fine weather.
There were excited guests looking forward to playing great golf and competing for the annual EMG Golf Challenge trophy, now in its 19th year.
With a mixture of businesses from Construction, Facilities Management, Engineering, Property and Security, the dry day helped keep good, but not shockingly high, scores being posted.
Good scores were posted from most teams, with the first and second teams within 1 point of each other, The winners were JDP -1 with a very reasonable score of 86 points, and MBS Software & Beamore Management took the runners-up prize on 85 points. 3rd place with 83 points was the team from Butler & Young Associates.
The winning team, scoring 86 points, from JDP-1 were Graham Fraser, Eamon McDaid, Simon Turner & Terry Hill
Runners up-MBS Software & Beamore Management came in second with 85 points.
3rd place went to Butler & Young Associates with 83 points.
The longest Drive winner was Scott Stanley and the Nearest the Pin winners were Phil Southern, Alpesh Patel, Ryan Oakes and Scott Stanley
We welcomed back Adger Brown, the well-known and respected comedian, who entertained the golfers with hilarious tales of marriage, divorce, neighbours, and getting old as well as his vast knowledge of courses across the UK.
