England welcome the West Indies to Edgbaston in what is sure to be an explosive encounter! England’s white ball cricket in recent years has been a joy to behold, the 2019 ODI World Cup triumph being one of many highlights, playing the sort of cricket England fans had always dreamed of. With a team packed with world class short format players such as captain Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, Adil Rashid and Mark Wood, Buttler’s side will present a stern examination for the West Indies. The visitors are at their strongest in the short formats in recent years and are always a highly dangerous opponent. A strong batting line-up features the likes of Shai Hope and Alick Athanaze, with gifted all-rounder Roston Chase being backed up with the ball by Gudakesh Motie and Alzarri Joseph. This should be a wonderful day of colourful, world class ODI action!
